As part of the SLIPPAGE lab, I helped to create an hour-long AfroFuturist performance/installation exploring redlining, gerrymandering, and other asocial cartographies that produce and reinforce inequality. I designed and built several custom “gesture sonification” or “kinesonic” interfaces worn by the performers, created most of the original music and sound design, and did live sound mixing & engineering for the performances.
